Build a Strong Foundation in Clinical Neurofeedback

Whether you’re new to neurofeedback or looking to build a strong clinical foundation, the BCIA Certified Neurofeedback Didactic Training provides a comprehensive pathway into evidence-based neurofeedback practice.

Developed and delivered by ANFI, this BCIA-approved program combines self-paced online learning with a practical, face-to-face practicum, providing clinicians with the knowledge and foundational skills to begin integrating neurofeedback into clinical practice.

How the Training Works

The training has been designed to balance flexibility with hands-on learning through two complementary components:

  • 20 hours of self-paced online learning, allowing you to progress through recorded lectures, readings and assessments at your own pace.
  • A 16-hour face-to-face practicum, where you'll consolidate your learning through supervised, practical neurofeedback training.

Together, these components provide the 36 hours of BCIA-approved didactic education aligned with the BCIA Blueprint of Knowledge.

The Attuned Protocol Suite brings more than 40 years of combined clinical experience into a structured collection of neurofeedback protocols, developed to support thoughtful and responsive clinical practice.

Created by Attuned Neurofeedback and Psychotherapy of NJ in collaboration with Divergence Neuro, the suite is integrated directly into the Divergence platform, giving clinicians access to practical, evidence-informed protocol guidance within the software they use for treatment.

A Practical Clinical Framework

The Protocol Suite is organised around functional patterns commonly seen in clinical practice, helping clinicians move from assessment to intervention with greater clarity.

The suite includes protocols that support work with:

  • Nervous system dysregulation, including over- and under-arousal
  • Trauma-related and attachment-based patterns
  • Somatic symptoms and autonomic imbalance
  • Attention, cognition and executive functioning challenges

Each protocol includes clearly defined starting placements and frequency ranges, informed by neuroanatomical targets such as the motor strip, temporal lobes and midline networks.
